Don’t forget that Week 8 is you first assessment!
If you have not emailed Katrina the following, you will not be assessed:
· Your Gmail address
· Your Blog url
· Your del.icio.us account
· Your flickr account
Attendance for the assessment is compulsory, so by not being present and not supplying the mentioned details to Katrina a zero (0) mark will be awarded.
How the assessment will work:
50 marks will be awarded as per the mpi104 checklist below, whilst another 50 marks will be awarded for “interestingness”. This means that if you have completes all the task in the checklist you will pass. However if you go beyond this, both aesthetically and through research on your blog posts your mark will be escalated to reflect this. This may include:
For both of the assessments (Week 8 and Week 13) you will have to write a post on your blog before the start of your assessment of between 250 – 500 words to summarise what you have done in the subject by that time.
You will need to email my CSU email (with MPI104_2008 Assessment #1 as the subject) a link to this post before the start of your assessment.

Please read through the MPI104 Blog thoroughly and make sure that you have completed all tasks. This includes not only the specific tasks set at the end of each post, but also the tasks which are mentioned throughout the entire post.
Here are a select few only:
· Have set up a Gmail account
· Have set up a blog and experimented with the aesthetics
· A saved version of your HTML web page
· Have applied for student web space (athene- you can check by using the following link http://athene.riv.csu.edu.au/~your username )
· Have set up an account with Flickr and del.icio.us
· Have uploaded pictures and saved links as per the posts on Flickr and del.icio.us
· Have emailed Katrina all relevant account details
· Have commented on more than 1 class members blogs
· Have continued to make contributions to your Blog, Flickr and del.icio.us
· Tags are used where appropriate
